What can you say about Ray?
It is for me the personification of a music lover and rockabilly artist. Often he is called "King of Rockabilly”, and I think he really deserves that. Born on April 20th 1934 in New York, he published “Caterpillar” on Single (TNT 145) with only 22 years in 1956 and this song is still a hit on every Record Hop.

Here on this CD you'll find two of his most important albums:
Rockabilly Rebel - Rollin’ Rock LP-006 (1974)
Rockabilly Rocket - Rollin’ Rock LP-013 (1977)

This year he has already played in Spain and France, was a guest at the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend. In summer Ray plays in Sweden, in autumn in England ... not bad for an artist who has just celebrated his 79th birthday with a concert (with Eddie Nichols and Rip Masters) in Los Angeles.
His discography is several pages long and contains dozens of releases. If you talk with Ray then it is as if you listen to a jukebox with stories about rockabilly and country music of the '40s and '50s ... It is one story after the other, and the time is never enough.

As a roommate of Rollin 'Rock label owner Ron Weiser, the two kicked off the rockabilly rebellion in the 70s in California and made history, and I have the great honor to be friends with Ray & Ron.
