The most northern rockabilly band from Germany has struck once again. This disc is their fourth album so far. Once more these 14 new tracks show their musical skill and their quality as songwriters.

Coming from Northern Friesia/ Schleswig- Holstein, 'The Greyhounds' can call themselves the northernmost band of Germany's rockabilly scene. They were formed out of the remains of former outfit 'The Boppin' Passions' who were founded in 1997. Still being a trio back then, the boys started out playing authentic rockabilly and shortly after their foundation released their first 7" single on Willie Lewis' legendary Denver- based label Rockabilly Record Co. (R- 504/ "Little Bop Baby).  In 1999 they recorded their first full- length LP "Rockin' by the moon" for Rebel Music (LP RM 12001). In fall of 1999 they added second guitarplayer which led to a much fatter sound. Until then the band strictly played authentic rockabilly but from now on they slowly created their own style and sound, so they decided to find a new name for the band.

The Greyhounds were born. At this point the engines were roaring heavily… in 2002 the northerners released their first CD called "Nightlife" on Part Records which led to a huge increase of their popularity and which was followed by live shows  at Rock'n'Roll- Weekender Walldorf, Street Nationals Hamburg, numerous festival gigs, radio broadcast appearances and their second album for Part Records in 2005.
After an enormous number of shows (e.g. as support for Slim Jim Phantom and the Boss Hoss), tours and festivals the band appeared on radio and tv and played additional clubgigs between Sweden and Switzerland. In 2009 the band played renowned festivals like the Kieler Woche, Travemünder Woche and Rendsburger Herbst and proved that even the 'normal' folks could very well relate to their blend of rockabilly music.

Quote: "The Greyhounds are a rockabilly band that despises to be labeled! We love rockabilly… but we like to play what's the most fun for ourselves and what really rocks in our rehearsal space, even if it's a Bruce Springsteen- song. The fun we have always radiates into the audience and everybody ends up having a blast… that's what counts!"
Meanwhile The Greyhounds are releasing their fourth Longplayer called "Wasteland" and with about 50 gigs per year they really can say that they live and love rock'n'roll.‚
