Active since 1988, the brothers Jens (lead / 1st tenor) and Daniel (baritone / bass) Franke with Ralf Zur Linde (lead / 1st tenor) and Claus Peter Niem (2nd tenor) are one of the world's best known active bands in the genre of harmony vocals. Shortly after its founding, the quartet became well-known in the USA for genre broadcasts - the debut single appeared on Ed Angel's CRYSTAL BALL label, and the linernotes for "Big Boys" are now by Joe Conray (Dj Brad), who accompanied the german band for a long time on DOO WOP RADIO. The Crystalairs have tried out all directions, most recently even sang complete German-language albums. The new work produced 22 songs in the classic band style, 20 of them own compositions as well as from the movie "The Wanderers" known "Stranger Girl" and the autobiographical key song "We Search Only An Echo", an adaptation of Richard Reicheg's "Looking For An Echo". For 14 months written, rehearsed, recorded and produced in his own studio, simple orchestrated songs with the classic themes that provide the brilliant, polyphonic harmony singing the best stage. A real masterpiece!
